Brand or Web Designer 

Position Type

This is a contract position meaning we will be working with you on a per project basis. Projects will paid on an agreed project fee (not hourly). Must be willing to sign Independent Contractor agreement form, which includes a non-disclosure.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • No formal education is necessary

  • Must have a passion for design

  • A portfolio that aligns with Ember 29

  • Ability to create designs that reflect our style

  • At least 2 years graphic design experience

  • Preferred experience in brand strategy

  • At least 2 years experience with Squarespace

  • Strong understanding of CSS & HTML

  • Preferred basic understanding of Javascript

  • A strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

  • An understanding of how to create brand identities

  • Willingness to learn and adopt our design process

Responsibilities

  • Developing concepts for branding and logos, including patterns and custom illustrations

  • Designing website layouts

    Developing concepts for PDF designs and other digital media, including social media posts

    Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size
